I feel very fortunate to be a life long resident of Cole County, having been raised on a 500 acre cattle farm just outside of Russellville. There I learned the lessons of hard work & independence that has served me well in the real estate profession. I have utilized these experiences & knowledge in assisting clients to both sell & purchase farm properties in our area. I married my high school sweetheart in 1985, Tony Porter, who has an American Family Insurance Agency. During our "child raising years" I was blessed to have the opportunity to stay home with our four boys, a job I took seriously & thoroughly enjoyed. Being involved in their school activities & sports, kindergarten through high school created wonderful memories & friendships. As years passed I obtained my Insurance license & assisted Tony in his agency. Then in 2010 I decided to pursue my own profession and Real Estate seemed to be the perfect fit. Helping others to walk through the emotional & sometimes complex process of selling or purchasing property is very rewarding. I am committed to this profession as I stay active as a member of several real estate organizations, National Board of Realtors, Missouri Board of Realtors, and Women Council of Realtors & have served on several board committees. Our family has been a member of Concord Baptist Church since 1994, where I have served on several committees, taught children & youth Sunday Schools & a member of the choir. My Christian faith is what guides me to conduct my business in the most honest & ethical manner.
