DONALD Q. SAUNDERS - A Personal Profile Don Saunders has been selling Real Estate as a full-time professional since 1978. He is a Real Estate Broker licensed by the State of California. Don was on the Board of Directors for the San Francisco Association of Realtors from 1987, until 2000, and President of the San Francisco Association of Realtors in 1997. He was also on the Board of Directors for the California Association of Realtors where he served as the Chairman for the Equal Opportunity Committee in 1996, Chair for the Membership Committee in 1997, and on the California Association of Realtors Board of Directors Executive Committee in 1998, and 1999. Don was a sales agent and manager with Coldwell Banker beginning in 1978, a Senior Vice President with Grubb and Ellis from 1984 until 1992, and then a Senior Vice President with Fox and Carskadon until 1994. From 1994, until December 2001, Don was the President and a partner with Cameron Jones Realtors, a small boutique Real Estate Company in San Francisco. Don was the Sales Manager and a partner with Zephyr Real Estate, which at the time was the largest independently owned and operated real estate company in San Francisco and later became part of Corcoran Global Living in 2020. Don is a graduate of Washington State University. After graduation in 1967, he entered the United States Air Force as Second Lieutenant, left active duty in 1977, as a Major and retired from the Air Force Reserves in 1988. Don is married to the former Cathy Kline. They have one son and four marvelous grandchildren.
