At GuardHill Financial LLC, I have the best of both worlds. We work as both a Mortgage Banker, which gives me direct access to the Underwriters who are working on my client's files, as well as a Mortgage Broker working with over 50 banks, including most of the Fannie lenders as well as many Portfolio lenders who don't have to adhere to Fannie Mae guidelines. Many of these Portfolio banks are more 'common sense' lenders who will close loans that the bigger banks shy away from. I also have a contact at every bank I broker with, who can help me follow up on my loans to get them pushed through more quickly. Since I have access to so many different banks, both Residential and Commercial, this enables me to find the appropriate products at competitive rates for my clients. I pride myself on holding my client's hands from the beginning to the end of the process and to be available to answer any questions they may have, as well as keeping the referring broker informed as well.
