I was born and raised in California then migrated to Utah with my family 11 years ago after first living in Nebraska for 5 years. Prior to making the decision to get my real estate license, my work history evolved around working over seven years with at-risk youth programs in Nebraska and Utah. Although I thrived in my position working with that population, I decided to switch occupations and was hired as an assistant property manager over a 112 unit apartment complex. Within six months I was promoted to the property manager where I have worked for the past six years. Approximately two years ago I was struck with the idea of obtaining my real estate license. It wasn't just the idea of a new career but I consider myself a social butterfly and this would give me the opportunity to make new connections, become a vital part of the community in Salt Lake, as well as meet new people I would probably not otherwise get to meet. In my current position, no day is the same with some flexibility. I believe I can still have that type of day as a real estate agent.
