Dr. Dhohyung Kim is a USPTO registered patent attorney specializing in intellectual property (IP) procurement and portfolio management. With a background in immunology and virology, he prepares and prosecutes patent applications in pharmaceuticals, biologics, and medical devices. Dr. Kim offers strategic IP counseling, due diligence research, and opinion work on patentability, validity, non-infringement, and freedom-to-operate. He also has experience in litigation, including pre-litigation analysis, discovery coordination, pleadings, and litigation management. Prior to his legal career, Dr. Kim conducted postdoctoral research on HIV/AIDS at Harvard Medical School and studied vaccine-induced B cell responses as a graduate student.
