Derrick Burbage is a detail-oriented REALTOR(r) with Brand Name Real Estate proudly serving Charleston, South Carolina and the surrounding areas. As a Charleston native with over 19 years experience in the real estate industry, Derrick is passionate about sharing his expansive industry knowledge and sincere in his commitment to helping clients succeed. Derrick was recently recognized as Agent of the Year and Charleston Realtor of Distinction for 2018. As a Silver Circle Award Winner, Derrick ranked among the top 7% of Realtors in the Charleston Trident Region in 2018. Derrick grew up in the Hanahan area and is lucky enough to have called Charleston home all his life. He holds his Bachelor's Degree in Applied Computer Science from Troy University and is currently attending Capella University working towards his Masters in Business Administration. To his clients' benefit, Derrick's knowledge of the real estate industry extends far beyond residential sales. Before obtaining his real estate license, Derrick was a local business owner and licensed SC Home Inspector. He also has experience with investment real estate including rehabbing and flipping distressed properties and property management. Derrick is dedicated to understanding all aspects of the Charleston real estate market and offering tailored insight that will support the needs of each individual client. In his free time, Derrick enjoys acting and being a professional stunt driver for film and TV. He has worked on more than 20 different mainstream productions! He also enjoys spending time with his amazingly talented son who currently attends the University of South Carolina and has been recognized as one of the top trumpet players in their music program - Go Gamecocks!
