In 1967, I attended kindergarten in the one room school house in Ironton. This was one of the last one room school houses in the United States and provided a unique and memorable experience. Starting at age 13 I took our old Larson boat from our home near Ironton to my summer job as a busboy at the Weathervane Restaurant in Charlevoix (rain or shine).Eventually, Igraduatedfrom MSU and the Michigan State University College of Law and am alicensed Michigan attorney. I returned to Charlevoix from Grosse Pointe Farms in 1995.
