Ms. Schmitt is licensed in Florida and Indiana. She has been admitted pro hac vice in several U.S. states and U.S. federal circuits. Ms. Schmitt is a former judicial clerk for the Honorable George B. Hoffman, Indiana Court of Appeals (1993-1996), and Assistant Regional Counsel (Second District-Florida 2015-2017). Ms. Schmitt is available for family law cases in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, and Manatee counties. Being licensed in both Indiana and Florida, she has litigated multi-state cases involving child custody/support hearings occuring in Indiana and Florida (under the UCCJEA), and has also litigated international kidnapping matters. Ms. Schmitt is a Florida native, born in Boynton Beach (Palm Beach county).
