I live, work, and play in the 1000 Islands Region of Northern New York State. I have lived in this area all my life, and it is one of the most beautiful areas in the world. We have world class boating, fishing, scenery, castles, entertainment, and great quality of life. I taught school for 5 years until my 2 children were born. My husband and I owned an operated the Ledges Motel and Marina until 2006, when he had to retire due to a traumatic brain injury. My children now operate that business. We also raised horses (Arabians) for a number of years as well. I love the St. Lawrence River and think everyone should live here! I enjoy working with people and helping them to market their homes.
