I opened the Law Office of David Stern because I'm passionate about helping people. My experience in the financial world provided me with a unique perspective on the problems everyone faces in realizing their dreams. This enables me to better help my clients take care of their families, homes and businesses, protect their assets and efficiently pass them to those they hold most important. Please contact mefor a conversation to see if we may be a good fit for each other. I was born and raised in the East suburbs of Cleveland, Ohio with dreams of making something substantial of my life. I received my B.A. from Vassar College in 2002. I quickly moved to New York City where, having always felt a deep passion for justice and a desire to help others, I attended New York Law School, graduating with a J.D. in 2007. After some experience working in operational real estate law at Forest City Ratner Companies, followed by a stint at Bloomberg Law, where I helped develop their legal search platform, I transitioned out of the legal field and into the financial world. The next six years were spent between First Investors and Strategies For Wealth, helping clients while learning about the struggles they faced trying to save money in the face of consumerism, taxes, familial conflict and the estate planning process. Ultimately, my interest in the financial world gave way to my love and respect for the law, where I felt I had a far greater ability to make an impact on people's lives.
