I am a native Texan and have lived in the Austin area since 2000. My children graduated form High School here and I am involved in the community. My wife, Cyndi, specializes in marketing homes for sale and I now represent buyers exclusively. Very few agents specialize in buyer representation and I am a bit unusual in that respect. 97.2 % of the transactions I have been involved in since gaining my license have been as buyer's representative. I have helped individuals and families from all over the United States find the right home for their specific needs in neighborhoods all over the Austin Metropolitan area, from Lakeway to South Austin, to Round Rock, Liberty Hill, Pointe Venture, Barton Creek, Old Enfield, Balcones, Hyde Park, Spicewood, Dripping Springs, Downtown, virtually every part of the Austin metro area West of I35. I am a strong advocate and believer in the value of having a seasoned, professional buyer's representative as your ally in the entire home-buying process from consultation on neighborhoods and markets to effective negotiation of offers, and the escrow process through closing. My highest client purchase to date has been $2.85 million and the majority of my current clients are looking in the range of $650,000 to $2M. My educational background includes a National Merit Scholarship, a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA. I spent over 20 years in the field of industrial sales to fortune 100 companies such as Intel and Hewlett Packard selling products from industrial robots to valves to clean-room equipment. Representing the buyer's side of the transaction is a better fit for me because it has allowed me to stop selling, which I can't stand. I try to treat my clients the way I would want to be treated. I never rush them and I never try to sell them a house. I advise them, but they decide.
