I am an active member of the community, having served as past president for the Toccoa Stephens County Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club of Toccoa. I am also an active member of the Toccoa First United Methodist Church. I served as a member of the Edward Jones Grassroots Task Force from 1996-2000, which is dedicated to making the voice of the individual investor heard on Capitol Hill. Established in 1985, the Grassroots Task Force is the securities industry's only volunteer advocacy organization.
