J.R. Hurt is a community development mortgage lender with Arvest Bank. He has lived in Northeast Oklahoma for most of his life and has held positions with small, medium and large companies. After serving in the healthcare industry for over 25 years, he transitioned into the real estate world where he worked as a real estate agent for six years and has worked as a mortgage loan originator since 2021. J.R.'s success is due to his ability to provide excellent customer service to his clients by providing timely follow-through, effective and efficient communications, and ensuring his clients' preferred results are accomplished. His experience as a realtor has enabled him to better understand the challenges realtors face daily and personally and, having purchased numerous homes throughout his life, he is also able to understand the questions and emotions that buyers encounter when making what is often the largest purchase of their life. J.R. and his wife Brooke live in Northeast Oklahoma and have 6 children between them and three grandchildren.
