Dario Albert Campolattaro

Dario has more than 16 years of experience in the insurance industry in both the carrier and broker arenas. His broad range of experience includes sales, sales leadership, operations and merger integration. In addition to overseeing the overall business for Summit Insurance Services, Dario has been a longtime agent. His experience is primarily consulting groups on their group benefits- health, life dental etc. He is also an advocate of comprehensive personal insurance -supplemental life and disability as well as Long Term Care Insurance. Dario has worked in the insurance industry for nearly 20 years. He started his career at MAMSI Healthplans, quickly advancing to management roles; first as a Supervisor in the Baltimore market, then Regional Manager in Washington DC, and finally as Senior Director in Virginia. In 2004, MAMSI was acquired by UnitedHealthcare. As Vice President of Small Business Sales, Dario played a key role in the integration process. He left UHC in 2007 and took on a new role of Financial Representative with Northwestern Mutual. In 2009 Dario was selected by Joe Kelly to take over as CEO for Kelly Insurance Agency/Summit Insurance Services.Dario has been active in the community for many years. He is the past President for the Greater Loudoun chapter of SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management). He is a past board member for the Greater Washington Boys and Girls Club, and an active member of the Loudoun County Chamber. Dario has been active in Board of Trade and a Board member of the Purcellville Professional and Business Association. Dario possesses a strong sense of community and founded a business association -the Brambleton Business Network. Dario is committed to personally being involved in the community along with his team and Kelly Insurance/Summit Insurance as a whole. In 2012, Dario was selected to be a part of the Loudoun County CEO Cabinet. Founded in 2005, the CEO Cabinet consists of a select group of leaders from Loudoun's top organizations. The group provides a forum for county executives to discuss issues important to Loudoun County businesses, as well as a strategic vision within the business community. In addition, the cabinet organizes various community outreach activities. In close alliance with the Loudoun Chamber of Commerce, the cabinet's mission is to make the county a great place to live, work and ultimately attract new business. Dario lives in Brambleton, Virginia with his wife Ashley and three sons, Jackson 12, Maxwell 10, and Wesley 6. He's spends his free-time staying active with his family.
