Danny, a REALTOR with Coldwell Banker United Realtors in Pearland, is also a regional vice president for the Texas Association of REALTORS and proudly serves as a board member of the National Association of REALTORS. Danny proclaimed "Maximizing the Value of the REALTOR Experience" the theme for his year as HAR's Chairman. It is part of his commitment to lead HAR in identifying new, effective and innovative ways to promote the real estate profession for Association members who work throughout the Houston market. Danny was born October 12, 1961 in Austin. He grew up in Sunrise Beach, Texas on Lake LBJ. In April 1967, Danny and his family moved to Pearland, which he has called both his home and workplace ever since, with only a few brief stints away for school and family. Danny has spent the last several years devoting his time and talents to helping HAR and the real estate industry grow and better serve its members. In 2006, just two years after getting his license, Danny became involved with the Bay Area Advisory group, and in 2008 became the chairman of that group. That is where he really started to focus his attention on HAR. He soon began participating as a member of HAR's Governmental Affairs Advisory Group and became heavily involved with the technology side of HAR - serving two terms as the chairman of the Technology Advisory Group. In that role, Danny worked very closely with HAR Chief Technology Officer Taqi Rizvi in developing and implementing many tools and features on HAR.com that have benefited HAR members and real estate consumers alike. That includes the acclaimed apps that have opened up a world of mobile, high-tech convenience in local real estate. Danny Frank has been a strong voice for HAR members especially on the national scene. He has fought heroically for the preservation of association public Websites, sparked dialogue on key member issues and has served as an articulate and passionate spokesperson on behalf of HAR's 29,000 members.
