I thank my mother for introducing me to investments and personal finance. She taught me at a very young age the important lesson of saving today for better a tomorrow. I still remember the first time I received an interest payment on my birthday and Christmas money I deposited at the bank in second grade; I was shocked to learn the bank was paying me for my savings. Since that moment, I was hooked on learning anything and everything I could about money management.This passion led me to pursue degrees in finance and marketing at the University of Iowa.
