Daniel Natalie joined Jennifer I. Peyton, Attorney at Law, LLC in August 2013. Before joining the firm, Dan worked as a staff attorney for the Cleveland Municipal Court, Housing Division. His practice is focused on immigration work, and his primary areas of representation include removal defense work, family-based immigration, asylum and refugee law, U visa and VAWA petitions, and naturalization. Dan recently traveled to Karnes City, Texas, and successfully litigated an asylum and withholding of removal case for a mother and daughter held in family detention for over nine months. Dan grew up in Springfield, Ohio and became interested in immigration law after working with seasonal migrant workers in his home community. He graduated summa cum laude from Miami University in 2007 with a Bachelor's Degree in political science and Spanish. After graduating from Miami, Dan spent a year in Madrid, Spain working at a bilingual English/Spanish public school in the middle of Madrid's historic "La Latina" neighborhood. Dan attended law school at Case Western Reserve University School of Law, graduating cum laude in May 2012. Dan was Executive Production Editor of the Law Review, and was published in the Case Western Reserve Law Review in 2012. During law school, Dan worked for the Legal Aid Society of Cleveland, and received a post-graduate fellowship with the Federal Public Defender, Northern District of Ohio. He was admitted to the Ohio Bar in November 2012. He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the Ohio State Bar Association. Dan is fluent in English and Spanish.
