As an experienced financial advisor with my career spanning over 25 years, I have gained the tools and knowledge that allow me to partner with my clients to help them set priorities and achieve their goals. I take great pride and satisfaction working with my clients through the investment decisions that go hand in hand with their most important life events. Growing up in an agricultural community taught me the meaning and importance of hard work, honesty and integrity. In 1998, I obtained the first of many securities licenses. While still in college, I had the good fortune and was blessed to work as an apprentice to a very successful financial advisor. That opportunity and training allowed me to become a financial advisor with Choice One, where I gained even more knowledge and experience. By 2006, I achieved my personal and professional goal of becoming a financial advisor with Edward Jones. I soon assumed responsibility for the first office in Comstock Park, MI. In 2014, I attained another goal when I purchased the commercial building where my office is located.I am dedicated to community and education, volunteering locally in my free time. I served as president of the Sparta Chamber of Commerce for 15 years, and I am a board member of the Sparta Community Works Events and a founding member of Sparta's Michigan Apple Fest. I am a strong advocate of our schools, working in the classroom, as well as teaching, on behalf of Junior Achievement.I am a passionate person, with a lot of "loves" in my personal life. I am an avid kitchen hobbyist with canning and baking among my favorites. I enjoy the country life and all that goes with it. I especially like gardening, farming, and, of course, pets. I am married to the man of my dreams, but of all my "loves", my greatest joy and pleasure is being mom to my two children and my bonus daughter.In the office with me is Anne Hoyt. She started here in March of 2023. She joined the firm in 2018 and holds a B.S in business administration from Ferris State University.With the continued growth of our business, we added another member to our team, as well. Terrie Keeney works with us remotely from the St. Louis area. She has been with the firm for over 10 years and has a B.A in behavioral science. As a team, we pride ourselves on our priorities which are faith, family and Edward Jones.
