Cynthia T. Lawson is the managing attorney of Cindy Lawson & Associates, P.C. in Knoxville, TN. Cynthia graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from East Tennessee State University in May 1993. She received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Memphis, Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law in December 1996 and was admitted to practice law in the State of Tennessee in April of 1997. Cynthia is admitted to practice in the Eastern and Middle Districts of Tennessee and all courts in the State of Tennessee. She has attended Max Gardner's Bankruptcy BootCamp and Pete Barry's Fair Debt Collection Practices Act Bootcamp. Cynthia is a past co-chair of the Bankruptcy Section of the Knoxville Bar Association (2015). She is an active member of the Knoxville Bar Association as well as the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys (NACBA) and Tennessee Bar Association. Cynthia donates her time as a pro bono attorney in the Debt Relief Clinic sponsored by Legal Aid of Knoxville and the KBA.
