In 1999, I joined Edward Jones as a financial advisor, and I became a limited partner in 2006. I graduated from Clemson University with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering. In addition, I received the CFP(r) designation in 2013. The Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. awards CFP(r) certification to individuals who meet the boards requirements for professionalism in financial services. To gain certification, a financial advisor must pass the CFP(r) Certification Examination and the CFP Board's Fitness Standards for Candidates and Registrants, agree to abide by the CFP Board's Code of Ethics and Professional Responsibility and comply with the Financial Planning Practice Standards. My senior branch office administrators, Diane Thompson and Linda Wright, have 67 years of combined financial services experience.
