Connie Trafton

Connie moved to Texas in 1953 as her father was in the Air Force and became stationed at Kelly Air Force Base as non-commissioned officer in charge of the Clinic. Connie's mother became San Antonio's very first policewoman to attend and graduate from the Police Academy and retired at the rank of Sergeant. Connie's mother then went on to become Wilson County's first female judge. Connie served 20 years in Civil Service as a secretary and progressing to Programs Analyst at former Brooks AFB, which included Small Business Innovative Research program management and Quality Control. After retiring from the Government, Connie earned a degree in Real Estate Management from San Antonio College and has worked at Keller Williams, Coldwell Banker, and currently with Trafton Advisory Group, Ltd, owned by husband, Gene. Gene and Connie have been married 56 years (Connie was 5 when they married), and they have 3 grown children and 6 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. Connie & Gene moved to the Rio Grande Valley about 3 years ago as Gene sells the mobile home and RV parks to investors. Connie & Gene partner together in nearly all real estate activities complementing each other's skills. Connie loves to help seniors understand what will be necessary to prepare their home for marketing and believes in pricing correctly and making the property look good before it goes on the market. This ALWAYS involves staging and often some repair work, which Connie will coordinate. Connie's real estate practice began in 1995, and she gets a great deal of satisfaction from making new friends. Her motto proudly displayed on her business cards reads, "What happens to you matters to me." All who have done business with her can testify to that.
