Cindy joined the Smart Living Team in 2013. She was recently named as the head of the New Home Division and as such has developed strong relationships with our community's residential builders and continuously worked to keep on top of the latest and greatest in new home building trends, looking at everything from construction methods and energy efficiency to technology and design. Prior to entering real estate, Cindy had a successful career in nonprofit development (primarily raising funds for educational, health care, and arts institutions) and is still active in the philanthropic community. She grew up in El Paso, graduated from Loretto Academy, and earned a BBA in Marketing from the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). For seven years, she worked at New Mexico State University (NMSU), where she also took graduate coursework in Professional and Technical Communication. Because her relatives have lived in this region since the early 1900s, Cindy has an excellent knowledge of the Las Cruces area, the El Paso suburbs (such as Santa Teresa and Sunland Park), and the resort communities of the Sacramento Mountains. She has developed an extensive professional network and large database of potential buyers and sellers, including many of the most influential individuals in our region.
