I graduated from University of Iowa, double majoring in accounting and finance in 2006. I continued my education at William Mitchell Law School in St. Paul, MN, graduated in 2009 and obtained my Certified Public Accounting license (CPA) while in law school. After law school, I joined my grandfather's law practice (Pelzer Law Firm) where I practiced as an attorney and CPA for 10 years in the areas of estate/trust planning, tax and real estate. I am currently active on a number of area boards including Pearson Lakes Art Center Board of Trustees and Love Takes Root, which supports an orphanage in Haiti.I have a wife, Abbie, and two daughters, Maggie (11) and Max (2). I enjoy spending every free moment I have with my family.
