I've always had an affinity for finances. When I was young, my grandparents used to buy me bonds for my birthdays and tell me how much they would be worth after a certain time period. Once I got to college, I began investing in individual stocks and would have conversations with my grandfather about which stocks he owned and which I should buy. I have since taken that passion and turned it into a career helping others realize their goals much like my grandfather helped me.I enjoy the look on my clients’ faces when they see that they can retire when they want to or that they are able to send their child to the college they wanted to go to. Many of my clients started off as just clients but have become dear friends. We share in the ups and downs of life, and I am grateful to be a part of their lives.When it comes to helping my clients, I take a holistic approach. I want to know your story, what is important to you, how you got to where you are today, and what your goals and aspirations are. I am a firm believer that until you understand the big picture, you don't have a right to advise someone on where to invest their money. Knowing my clients is my #1 priority and I take that very seriously.I reside in Graham, North Carolina, with my wife, Ann, who works as a real estate paralegal, and our daughter, Alyssa. I am a member of the Graham Rotary Club and past president of the Mebane Rotary Club. I enjoy volunteering for local charities and helping make our community a better place to live. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
