I began my career in the financial industry interning for Norwest Financial, now Wells Fargo, while in college, 30 years ago. I proceeded to work as a broker for Hibernia Bank in Louisiana after graduation. I left the financial industry in 2003 to work in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry, spending 10 years there before returning to my financial roots. My husband, Brent, and I have been married for 28 years. We're blessed with two children, Eric (27) and Leigh (23). Eric graduated from Ole Miss, works for Higgenbotham Insurance and he and his wife, Ainsley, live in Houston. Leigh graduated from LSU and is back in Austin working for Edward Jones. We love to travel, spend time on the Lake, all sports and being with our friends and family. We've been in Texas for over 13 years, and we love it!Giving back to the community is extremely important to me. I'm a current member of Lakeway Church, a member of the Lakeway Church Women's ministry serving on several committees, a volunteer for Mobile Meal Delivery through the Lions Club, former member of Lake Travis Senior Services and former member of the National Charity League and Young Men's Service League.
