Chantal Winstead

Serving clients with patience, integrity and expertise is the cornerstone of Chantal's business approach. Her international background, intimate knowledge of the DMV area, and extensive career and studies in education and leadership all converge to make her an invaluable real estate partner. Born in Belgium and raised in Germany courtesy of her mother's military career, Chantal visited countries around the world and has lived all over the United States since returning stateside. She has called the DMV home since 2010. After graduating from Oklahoma City University with a double major in English and Secondary Education and earning Master's degrees in Literacy and Special Education from Michigan State University and Education Leadership from George Mason University, Chantal embarked on a rich career in education that began at the USO Rhein Main Area in Germany planning programs and classes for military families before making her way to the classroom as a high school English teacher, first in the Netherlands, and then in Maryland and Virginia, where she sponsored a number of activities and was recognized for her impact as an educator four years in a row. Just prior to real estate, she worked with adult educators across the mid-Atlantic to implement digital instruction. Her passion for real estate was ignited when selling her Loudoun County condo on her own without an agent. Outside of real estate, Chantal is a recreational runner, restaurant enthusiast, and volunteer with such organizations as Food For All, Martha's Table, Wildlife Rescue League, and the Chesapeake Bay Foundation.
