About

About me...well that's a loaded question I'm a native Floridian so that is pretty rare. I was born and raised in Boca Raton. I left South Florida for 4 years while I attended Florida State University in Tallahassee. I've wanted to be a Seminole for as far back as I can remember. Growing up in South Florida and being a Seminole fan was tough. Most of my friends were Miami Hurricane fans and we had way too many Wide Rights! I graduated from Florida State in 2000 with a degree in Finance and I went to work for Wal-Mart as an Assistant Store Manager. I quickly learned that walking around Wal-Mart for 55 hours a week wasn't my cup of tea. I joined Bank of America in October of 2000 and spent the next 9 years of my career with them. I started at Bank of America as a Personal Banker and mortgages were one of many of my job duties but I excelled in that arena and quickly gravitated in that direction. I was promoted to a Mortgage Market Manager in 2003 and was in charge of training and development for over 80 salespeople in North Broward. In 2005 I migrated over to the individual sales side and became a Mortgage Origination Loan Officer. I enjoyed tremendous success and was named to both the Platinum Club and Chairman's Club which was reserved for the top 5% of loan officers nationally. I've been in the mortgage game ever since and I truly love what I do! More important than my profession is my family. I met my wife, Jolynn, at Florida State my senior year and we've been together ever since. We've now have 2 amazing children. My son, Jayden, is so much like me. My daughter, Madison, LOOKS just like me (sorry Madison) but acts just like my wife (uh-oh). I spend almost every free minute with them and truly enjoy taking in every minute. I know they are growing up way too fast. For hobbies I enjoy fishing with my Dad, vacationing with the family, and hitting the gym. I keep trying to get my college body back but that is an uphill battle. My passions are training, coaching, mentoring, and marketing. I couldn't be happier!
