As a financial advisor with Edward Jones, I believe it’s important to invest my time to help clients define their goals and make well-informed decisions about their investments. I provide personalized service for my clients, keeping their professional, personal and financial goals at the forefront of their plans. I focus on helping clients take care of things financially, so they can focus on what is truly important to them. Prior to Edward Jones, I worked for eight years in the hedge fund industry as an equity analyst covering 150 companies. I also worked for seven years in financial consulting. I received my MBA at Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University focused on finance and real estate. For undergrad, I went to the University of Michigan, where I studied finance and received a full ride as an Evans Scholar. I received my Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) designation in 2006. The CFA Institute awards the CFA® designation to those who have passed the CFA Program, a graduate-level self-study curriculum and examination program for investment professionals that covers a broad range of investment topics. The CFA Program requires up to 300 hours of study for each of three exams and can take from two to five years to complete. Personally, I live in Riverwoods with my wife and two young sons. I am an avid hockey fan (playing and watching), snow skier, hiker/biker and love to travel (been to 33 countries/50 states). I am involved in many charitable organizations like Lake County Forest Preserve and Deerfield Chamber Board of Directors, with my biggest focus being the Evans Scholarship. The Evans Scholarship provides a full tuition and housing scholarship at 20 universities given to golf caddies in financial need who have strong academic records. I received the scholarship myself, so I have been very active in giving back with my time, resources and financial gifts.
