Born & raised in Chicago, near Midway Airport, Carole attended Barat College and became a certified teacher, teaching in Flossmoor, IL/ Champaign, IL,/ and Southern CA. A love of learning, a thirst for reading and playing the piano and organ were interspersed with an interest in nature, and introduction into gardening from my grandparents and adventures on a farm and at a summer cottage. Riding a bike and playing baseball with siblings and friends made for a happy growing up. Raising three wonderful children in Elmhurst and Libertyville, I now enjoy my seven young grandchildren. With lots of extended family nearby, there is always alot to celebrate. I am grateful for all the blessings of living in America!!
