Carla has worked as a TX Realtor for 17 years in beautiful East Texas. She is a member of The Greater Tyler Association of Realtors (GTAR), the professional association where she served three consecutive years as a Director, on the Board of Directors. In 2015, she served as committee chairperson of the Community Service Committee for GTAR and has chaired the Public Relations Committee & Professional Development committees in previous years. She is a former president for a local, East Texas BNI chapter, she served from 2008-2010 as 2nd Vice President for the Women's Auxiliary of the East Texas Regional Fraternal Order of Police, she volunteered on the Building Standards Committee of her previous neighborhood, and she was recently invited to serve as a member of Catalyst 100 -- a local leadership team for the city of Tyler. Carla earned her associates degree in piano from Lon Morris College, and went on to graduate with a degree from the College of Business at The University of Texas at Tyler. She has had the opportunity to watch & take part in the excitement of UT Tyler first hand as coach of the UT Tyler cheerleaders from 2009-2014. She continues to give back to her university by serving & volunteering as a member of The UT Tyler Regional Alumni Council.
