Cari is a seasoned real estate professional with over 20 years of experience in the industry. Coming from a family deeply rooted in real estate, she began her journey as a salesperson before becoming a Real Estate Broker. Her interest in this field was sparked by her own experience as a first-time homebuyer in the 1990s. During that process, she felt overwhelmed and out of the loop, as her agent managed everything without much input from her. Despite that, they successfully closed the deal, which motivated her to gain a deeper understanding of real estate. She enrolled in real estate classes at American River College, eager to learn about the buying and selling process. After obtaining her license, Cari was encouraged by the Broker who represented her during her second home purchase to consider a career in real estate. Although she initially hesitated, reflecting on her background as an Analyst for the County of Yolo and her roles in housing inspection and caseload management, her passion for real estate and helping others find their dream homes ultimately led her to pursue this path. In 2004, she fully committed to a career in real estate, balancing two jobs for four months during her transition. This dedication proved to be incredibly rewarding, allowing her to dive deeply into various facets of residential real estate. Her journey has included experiences as a first-time homebuyer, investor, landlady, and owner/manager of short-term rentals and vacation properties. Additionally, she has mentored investors on fix-and-flip projects, participated in 1031 exchanges, and served as a private party lender. Cari believes in the importance of educating buyers about the real estate process, as it is a lifelong journey that can help build generational wealth and create lasting legacies. For sellers, her goal is straightforward: to achieve the highest sale price in the neighborhood quickly and smoothly while ensuring a pleasant experience throughout the process. She is honored to have been inducted into the RE/MAX California Hawaii Hall of Fame and recognized as a top listing and selling agent at the RE/MAX Gold Midtown Office.
