I have a passion to help healthcare professionals because they have given me so much. I had a non-cancerous tumor in my cervical spine that had to be removed twice in my life. I owe my health and my life to them. I have also seen the incredible work and sacrifices my wife has made for her patients and her colleagues as a registered nurse at Parkview Hospital.Service to others has given me a sense of purpose and joy in my life. This has been a common theme throughout my life in the Boy Scouts of America. In the Boy Scouts of America, I am an Eagle Scout and helped to develop leaders as a Scoutmaster. Also, I was a high-school math teacher and distance-running coach for five years before becoming a financial advisor.
