My wife and I fell in love with the springtime in Copperopolis, while helping my wife's family at their rental property. The oak studded rolling hills, beautiful lakes, outdoor scenery and outdoor activities, got me hooked on Calaveras County. We started to be weekenders back in 1999, and moved here full-time in 2006. I am an active volunteer in many of the community organizations and clubs: current chair person of Copperopolis Parks & Recreation, an active member of the Calaveras Saddle Club, a volunteer for Friends of library, and the Lake Tulloch Lions Club.
