Breezy Obletz

Born and raised in Cortez, Breezy Obletz-Kingery spent eight years traveling and attending Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff. Shortly after, she returned home with a renewed sense of appreciation for the sense of community and stunning surroundings of her hometown. In addition to a bachelor's degree in biology from NAU, Breezy earned a bachelor's degree in liberal arts with an emphasis in business from Fort Lewis College in Durango and an associate's degree from Coconino Community College in Flagstaff. Her education complete, Breezy settled in Cortez and became a small business owner, which afforded her valuable experience in sales, finance, marketing, taxation and business software like QuickBooks. During this time, Breezy began speaking with one of the region's most successful real estate agents, someone who had helped her parents sell multiple properties over 30 years. The agent became a mentor to Breezy and felt a career in real estate fit Breezy's skills and abilities perfectly. The mentor wasn't wrong. After Breezy earned her certificate from the American Dream Real Estate School and began working as a Realtor(r) in 2017, she was named Rookie of the Year in 2019 and 2020. She is currently working on additional certification badges in real estate. Breezy is also building her own home, an undertaking that has given her hands-on experience with construction, building costs, budgeting, building codes, licenses and permits, and more. As a Realtor(r), Breezy's primary focus is working with buyers and sellers on the purchase/sale of residential, commercial and vacant land in Montezuma County and beyond. She values building relationships with her clients and introducing them to the community. Away from the office, Breezy is a Co-president for the Dean Hanson Scholarship committee, she's the President-elect on the Four Corners Board of Realtors, a CAR director and she's a member of the PEO Sisterhood. She also enjoys spending time with family, friends and "any activity that allows me to be outdoors in Colorful Colorado".
