Brandi Harper is a founding partner of CASTILLO HARPER. Brandi began her career at a Civil Litigation defense firm in Riverside where her practice focused on Civil Litigation and Public Entity Defense. She also has experience in Family and Employment Law. Brandi has represented officers in Civil Litigation cases related to claims of excessive force. Brandi is currently a member of the Riverside County Bar Association and Federal Bar Association- Inland Empire Chapter. In addition, she has served as the attorney-coach for the Upland Christian Academy Mock Trial team since 2011. She received her law degree from the Ave Maria School of Law in Ann Arbor Michigan in 2009 where she received a significant merit scholarship. During law school she served as a law clerk for the Honorable John G. McBain of the Jackson County Circuit Court in Jackson, MI. She was also a summer associate and law clerk at a Civil Litigation Defense Firm prior to being admitted to the bar. Brandi received her undergraduate degree, with honors, from the California State University San Bernardino, where she received the Presidents Scholarship and was on the Dean's List. Brandi currently represented clients in civil litigation matters in both state and Federal Court. Representative case experience includes the following: Morgan v. Price -- representation of a senior citizen who had been severely beaten by an individual during the course of a robbery. The case settled on the day of trial for $525, Solano v. Sader et al -- representation of a federal agent accused of illegally accessing personal records. The case was dismissed as to my client for waiver of costs. Education Ave Maria School of Law, J.D.
