Bobby Streett possesses the extensive training and background diversity essential when real estate planning, purchasing or marketing assistance is required. He has considerable experience in real estate valuation, real estate marketing, and real estate laws. He is also qualified in residential construction and insurance affairs. Streett graduated from the University of South Carolina (Honors College) in 1973 with additional studies at the University of London in London, England. He was first licensed by the South Carolina Real Estate Commission in 1975 and soon after appointed Broker-In-Charge and Property Manager-In-Charge for Cormell-Streett & Patterson. In 1988 he was appointed Broker-In-Charge and Property Manager-In-Charge of Aiken & Company, Inc., a real estate and insurance company dating back to 1914. In 1994 he was made Vice-president of the corporation. Streett has been previously recognized as a Top Ten Listing Agent. He is a graduate of the Realtors Institute and is a Certified Insurance Counselor. He received his license in Property and Casualty Insurance as well as Life, Accident and Health Insurance. A former member of the Realtor Association of the Greater Pee Dee, where in 2001 he won the Realtor of the Year Award. Streett has been active with the South Carolina Association of Realtors. Streett has appeared as an expert witness in real estate valuation in Circuit Courts. Likewise he has testified in Probate and Family court on numerous occasions involving property valuations. He previously valued real property for Merrill-Lynch Relocation Management and served on the appraisal panel for Central Electric Coop - in regards to numerous properties acquisition cases in this region. Since joining Garden City Realty, Inc. in December 2004 as a Broker Associate, Streett has been the Top Selling Agent in 2007, 2010 and 2011. Streett has graduated from the Coastal Carolina Association of Realtors Leadership Program and is a member of several committees. He completed the Tax Deferred (1031) Exchanges curriculum, is a certified Recreation and Resort Specialist (RRS) and has passed all course work for the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and Acredited Buyer's Representative (ABR) designations. Streett is active in the community as well. He and his wife are members of the Belin Memorial United Methodist Church where he serves as a Trustee and cooks for the Wednesday night church supper. Over the years he has been active with the Garden City Community Association and the Murrells Inlet Rotary Club; as well as a member of the Chamber of Commerce, the United Way and Director of the Jaycees. He has also been a Red Cross Water Safety Instructor, past President and Chairman of the Board of the Mid-Day Sertoma Club, League Official and youth baseball coach.
