Robert W. Evans (Bob) has been the Principal Broker of Collins/Evans since 1972. A native of Greencastle & Putnam County, Bob is a graduate of Culver Military Academy ('55), Depauw University ('59) and Purdue University ('61). He has served on the Putnam County Council for 23 years, as a member-at-large. He is currently a member of the National and Indiana Associations of REALTORS and a member, past director and past president of the Putnam County Board of REALTORS. He is a past director of Old National Bank, Greencastle, Main Street Greencastle and the Greencastle/Putnam County Economic Development Center and has been involved with Greencastle 2001 and 2010 strategic planning programs. Bob is a founding director and past president of the Putnam County Foundation. He received the "Citizen of the Year" award from the Greencastle Chamber of Commerce in 1993, the "Spirit of Philanthropy" Award from the Putnam County Foundation in 1995 and received the "Sagamore of the Wabash" from Governor Evan Bayh in 1996. He and his wife, Sharon, 6th grade teacher at Central Elementary School, have three sons: Stan, Brad and Scott. Hobbies include travel, sailing, rowing, reading and anything to do with northern Michigan, Mexico and Culver.
