The presence of the University of South Carolina makes Columbia a great place to live and work. I opened my agency in 1994, and am proud to have raised two children here with my wife, Shirley. We love attending football, baseball and basketball games at USC or enjoying a day boating on Lake Murray to get away from it all. The community is important to me, and my local involvement runs deep. I'm on the board of directors for the Mental Illness Recovery Center, Inc., and have been an elder at Trinity Presbyterian Church. I also support football and baseball programs at Dreher High School, and other programs at Hand Middle School. By teaming with other local Allstate agents, I helped earn a $5,000 Allstate Foundation Helping Hands grant for Harvest Hope Food Bank. As an Allstate representative, I'm privileged to help people learn to prepare for the unexpected. I love having the opportunity to interact with local families while helping them choose the best products and services.
