Upon completing his degree in Economics at Clemson University in 1971, Bill served two years as Operations Officer at Charleston Army Depot in Charleston, SC . Bill then moved to Durham, NC and began his career in retail home furnishings. Over the next 28 years Bill expanded his company from a single store operation to 22 locations throughout the state. The company was acquired 1997, and Bill continued his career as CEO of the top five furniture retailer, Rhodes Furniture, until 2004. At that time ,Bill became CEO of Berkshire Hathaway's Star Furniture in Houston, Texas . After 13 years, Bill concluded his home furnishings career and relocated to Wilmington, NC where he had owned a vacation home for 30 years. Now residing full-time at the Country Club of Landfall, Bill is eager to apply his extensive business and real estate experience to assist others in investing in the extraordinary Wilmington community. Bill's success has been centric to customer satisfaction establishing relationships fostered on integrity, professionalism, and exceeding expectations.
