Ben also manages the financial side of The Teri Chmielewski Team, tracking our business, meeting with our accountants, handling our payroll, etc. This allows the rest of the team to spend 100% of their time on your business!Ben and Teri moved from Lakewood to Shaker Heights in 2000 with their children Nicholas and Sarah, who both attended the Shaker Schools from start to finish. They recently renovated a home in the Mercer neighborhood and moved from the Fernway neighborhood where they lived for 16 years.Ben is the chief advocate for Teri and Ben's daughter, Sarah (20), who has cerebral palsy. From navigating her education and her programs with organizations like Youth Challenge, to managing her other caregivers, Ben works tirelessly to make sure everything in Sarah's life works for her. Ben has also created unique adaptations for Sarah, such as a special mechanism for Sarah's wheelchair that allows her to drive it with her right foot - and that allows her to enjoy more independence. For the family's new home, Ben designed a complete renovation with Sarah always in mind so that she could enjoy every possible inch, both inside and out.
