Barry Higginbotham

I am a native of Amelia Island and graduated a Pirate from Fernandina Beach High School. Being raised by a former Nassau County Commissioner and Public Works Director for the city of Fernandina Beach, I am intimately familiar with the attractions of Northeast Florida. I began my working career at the Ritz Carlton of Amelia Island where I learned the value of service and honed in on my social skills. Following a few years in Atlanta, I realized something was missing and I returned home to Fernandina Beach to raise a family in an area with a small town feel and sense of community.A 20 year tenure as a Business Development Manager in the mortgage industry lends to a tremendous amount of knowledge in my real estate career. I enjoy spending my free time with my wife and two adult children. I consider myself a foodie who loves music, bicycling, and heading to the beach in my Jeep.
