Attorney Jane Probst is a veteran attorney with 32 years of experience practicing law in Wisconsin, primarily in the areas of family law, divorce, custody, placement, child support, maintenance/alimony, paternity, termination of parental rights, adoption, adult and juvenile guardianships, prenuptial agreeements and equine law.  She has successfully litigated such cases throughout Southeastern Wisconsin and has now expanded her practice to Northeastern Illinois and Jo Daviess County, where she grew up in a neighboring town.    She was also certified as a divorce mediator at the University of Wisconsin.  She is  a 1990 graduate of Marquette Law School.  She is licensed to practice law in the States of Wisconsin and Illinois.  She is also licensed to practice law in the Eastern Wisconsin District of the United States Courts and the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals.   Jane has argued before the Wisconsin Court of Appeals in the landmark case, In re the Marriage of Winkler v. Winkler, 282 Wis. 2d 746, 699 N.W. 2d 652, 2005 WI App.  She was named a Leading Lawyer in Milwaukee Lifestyle Magazine in 2015.  Jane is a regular presenter at national continuing legal education seminars in which she is instructing other attorneys in her areas of practice.  She has a 10 rating on AVVO, a national attorney rating and referral service.   Since Illinois and Wisconsin are neighboring States, Jane has learned that there can be a greater continuity with client service since many people have been moving back and forth over the State line.  It results in not only a higher level of continuous service, but reduced costs tto be incurred by clients needing separate representation in both States.
