She furthered her studies at the University of Denver and received her M.A. in 2007. Since 2017, Ashley had been a member of the Glencoe School Board of Education District 35 and was also a representative of the Glencoe Sustainability Committee. Ashley, and her husband Jordan Spector, have three children, Emma who is in Third Grade at West School, and Eli who is in First Grade at South School, and Oliver who was born in October 2022. Ashley is also Board Member of the New Trier Educational Foundation.
