I graduated with honors from the University of Missouri-Kansas City with a degree in middle school education. I taught language arts and math for five years and also led a pre-kindergarten program with The Kansas City Autism Training Center.I joined the Edward Jones family in 2011 after witnessing my older brother's passion for his career as a financial advisor with the firm. He shared numerous experiences describing how he truly partnered with his clients as they pursued their financial dreams. Once I jumped in with both feet, I knew I had found my purpose. While I continue to utilize my background in teaching, I have shifted my attention to educating and partnering with my clients as they navigate and plan their financial futures.My main focus is listening to my clients to understand what is most important to them. After analyzing their risk tolerance, I work with each client to establish a tailored strategy. Through this individualized approach, I am able to partner with them throughout their lives as they pursue their financial goals. My focus is in multi-generational wealth transfer and I work closely with my client's CPAs and attorneys to provide a clear financial picture.I also enjoy working with local business owners to enhance their employee benefits packages by assisting with employee group retirement plans. By offering an employee group retirement plan, business owners and CEOs are confident knowing they are educating their employees on future retirement preparation while also benefitting from a tax perspective for their business.My husband and I have an adorable son and two dogs. Born and raised in the Kansas City metropolitan area, I was an avid equestrian at White Fox Manor Stables for many years and went on to teach horseback riding lessons to children. Today, in my free time, I enjoy spending time with family, soaking up every minute I can with our son, working out to keep up with health and fitness and supporting the Kansas City Chiefs and the Royals.
