Ashleigh is originally from Rappahannock County, Virginia and an alumnus of Virginia Tech with a B.A. in Geography-Geographic Information Systems (GIS). She also holds a Master's Degree in Teaching in Special Education. She and her husband lived in Breckenridge, Colorado and Asheville, North Carolina before putting their roots down in Charlottesville. She is a mother of two toddler boys and loves raising them in a such a family friendly place. After teaching at the middle and high school level, Ashleigh and her husband opened Moe's Original BBQ in 2015 in Charlottesville, as well as a second location in 2019. Her experience negotiating commercial leases, restaurant design and build-out, and running a successful business in a tough market have all led her to the field of real estate. Ashleigh loves spending time with her family, hiking, gardening, skiing, and restoring her historic property in Ivy!
