With the purchase of what is now our home office, I and my husband, Michael Miserlian, planted solid roots in Cloverdale. On February 22, we completed the purchase of 324 N. Cloverdale Blvd. Previously an eyesore to the neighbors who still come by and thank us for purchasing our home, our house was a "gas station" property. Yes, if you look up the address, you will likely still see the old gas station awning. Now, we affectionately think of our home as a happy house. We painted an attractive blue color, added a ramp, and opened up the front room as our office. Our dear friends, Sam and Kerry, picked out the beautiful interior colors and our dear friend and client Light Man Lou helped us with lighting. Michael and I successfully and generally happily worked on our home for almost one full year. We've added a bathroom and painted and made the house so very pretty. We are lucky and blessed to have such a beautiful home. It wasn't always that way. We really had to put some sweat equity into our home and we are very happy that we did. Though I've had my real estate sales license since 1993, my children came first and I set the license aside. In 2005 I picked it up again and learned the art of marketing with CPS Country Air Properties, a valuable education. In 2008 I moved to Timothy Toye Associates, where Timothy Toye a master in the craft of sales, taught me to close transactions. In 2014 I obtained my broker's license and I am very proud of that achievement. Short sales were a natural for me. I truly enjoyed partnering with homeowners in communicating with their banks to get started on modifying their loans. I also enjoyed the challenge in closing short sales. That experience made me an excellent solutions oriented closing agent. It's already 2015 and I just completed what may be my very last short sale. I've been living in Cloverdale for the last four years and have partnered with Cloverdale's "Queen" of Real Estate, Iris Konik. She's a wonderful person, friend and mentor. She has insight into this area that I could not have gathered without her. I work in Sonoma County, parts of Lake County and parts of Mendocino County. I've lived all over Sonoma County but had no idea how much I would love Cloverdale until I moved here.
