Born in Colombia and raised in the Midwest Ann Drometer is a well rounded individual. Getting her start in Real Estate in May of 2000 she was the executive assistant and office manager to Dan Humeston, the co-founder of the nationally recognized network REObroker.com. One of the REO industry's most influential and biggest players Dan mentored and taught Ann his craft for six and a half years. In addition to possessing a very strong REO/Foreclosure background, she has also served as past Relocation Director for Century 21 MoneyWorld who along with Coldwell Banker Premier, held rank as a Senior Cartus Broker for several years in Southern Nevada. Her knowledge and fluency of the Dutch and German language came in handy when required as she was responsible for placing all the incoming referrals in Southern Nevada and outbound throughout the world. In addition to the two niches aforementioned Ann is also extremely well versed in Short Sales. While most agents tend to shy away from them Ann loves them! "I always like to give a dressed up challenge a wink," she says. Living abroad for several years in Frankfurt and Heidelberg, Germany while earning her B.A in International Relations and Diplomacy and B.S. in International Business Management she often cites that having lived amongst the natives of the host country prepared her for working hard, adventure and enjoyment. A competitive swimmer from the age of nine through her early twenties she learned discipline and perseverance at a young age that has been ingrained and carried through to her adult life and most importantly in her work ethic. Ann's favorite moment to date as a Realtor was helping a couple find their dream home after living in China for a year. Whence upon entry to the home the wife said "Ann! You've found my home! This is my dream home!" What a special moment that was for her clients and for Ann. She states "This is why I do what I do! To know I've helped individuals find their dream home, sell an asset, or simply consult on home buying I have definitely found my calling." When not working with new and past client's Ann loves to travel the world, workout, spend time with her family, cheer on the Minnesota Vikings and read. Her favorite trip was to Morocco where she spent three weeks traveling from Agadir on the Atlantic coast inland to Meknes and Fes. Since her first trip to the country she has traveled back again as well as throughout North Africa, Eastern Europe, & Central and South America.
