After many years of designing homes, working with builders and buyers in the Lake Travis, I've gotten to know Austin very well and did that for the first 10 years I was in Austin. After getting my real estate license, it really gave me the opportunity to learn more about others areas beyond Lakeway where I've lived. Each area can be so different and interesting to explore. Getting to know and understand pocket communities has been part of the enjoyment of working in real estate for such a long time. Even though the market changes all of the time, some things do not change when it comes to buying and selling. When we have a lot of inventory, sellers have to make sure there properties are priced well and stand apart from the competition. When there are very few properties to choose from in their desired location, price point or other factors, buyers have less choices but need to be very careful that they are not over paying for what they can realistically afford.
