Andrea D. Sipes is a native of Middleton, Hardeman County, Tennessee. She graduated from Middleton High School in 2000. She graduated with honors from Jackson State Community College in 2003 with an Associates of Science degree in pre-law. Andrea attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville where she graduated, summa cum laude, in 2006 with a Bachelor's of Arts degree in history and political science. Andrea attended law school at the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law where she graduated, magna cum laude, in 2009.While in law school, Andrea was a member of the Moot Court Board and received the honors of Best Oral Advocate and Honorable Mention for Best Brief in the 2007 Advanced Moot Court Competition. Andrea was admitted to the bar in 2009 and is licensed to practice in Tennessee and the United States District Court for the Western District of Tennessee.In 2012, Andrea was awarded by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation as being one of Jackson's Finest Young Professionals. Andrea practiced, first as an associate and then as a partner, at the law firm of Hardee, Martin & Donahoe from 2009 until 2016.In July 2016, Andrea opened her own law firm - Sipes Law, PLC - in Jackson, Tennessee.
