I obtained a BSBA in accounting from Tennessee Technological University and my MBA in finance from The Ohio State University's Fisher College of Business—a nationally ranked top 25 program. I received the professional designations of Certified Public Accountant, CPA (inactive), and before coming to Edward Jones, held trusted positions in public accounting and private industry. Though holding several important roles with distinguished companies felt successful, it was not until I found Edward Jones that I understood what it meant to have a calling. I also hold the CFP® professional designation. The Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. awards CFP® certification to individuals who meet the board’s requirements for professionalism in financial services. To gain certification, a financial advisor must pass the CFP® Certification Examination and the CFP Board’s Fitness Standards for Candidates and agree to abide by the CFP Board’s Code of Ethics and Professional Responsibility and the Financial Planning Practice Standards.My ideal client is a long-term investor who seeks a trusting human-centered relationship. Typically, we work with institutions and families that have over $1 million in net worth. I moved to South Carolina in 2014 to be closer to my family. I’m an uncle to triplets, a lifelong student of the fiddle, and enjoy being outdoors. Money is not my god.
